2 Qaeda-linked suspects arrested early today in New York

Two men who traveled to Pakistan with terror suspect Najibullah Zazi were arrested early today in New York, officials said.

"Early this morning Adis Medunjanin and Zarein Ahmedzay were arrested by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force in New York as the result of an ongoing investigation," said FBI spokesman Rich Kolko.

The full list of charges will be released this afternoon in Brooklyn federal court, but sources said one of the men was charged with non-terror-related holding charges and is awaiting terror-related charges. A second man was charged with terror-related charges.

Zazi was arrested last September and accused of planning to carry out terror attacks against the United States under the direction of al Qaeda.
